Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip

• This full day trip to Galle will be an exciting one. 
• After breakfast proceeds to Bentota visit a Turtle Hatchery
• Bentota Turtle Care Program aims to protect sea turtle eggs and increase hatching rates. They not only do hatching but also they treat disabled Turtles and treat the weak ones due to fishing
• After that drive to Moonstone Mine in Mithiygoda and Mask Factory in Ambalangoda.
• Moonstone is found concentrate within an acre of land believed to have been blessed by the moon. The moonstone is a semi-precious gem of Sri Lanka that possesses unique qualities relating to the moon.   
• Sri Lanka has inherited and been influenced by these Traditions of Mask making and devil dancing mainly from the cities of Kerala and Malabar in India while Sri Lankan artisans have managed to incorporate more decorative techniques and colour in the masks that are manufactured today. 
• On completion you have an amazing boat ride in Madhu River. Which has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to 303 species of plants belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of vertebrate animals.
• Then visit to Galle Fort, a well preserved fortified city built by originally by the Dutch. 
• Then drive back to hotel.
