🌿 DAY 07 – Full-Day Sinharaja Bird Watching & Rainforest Trekking 🐦🌳

Early morning guided rainforest walk

Dedicated bird-watching session

Look for endemic species such as Sri Lanka Blue Magpie, Sri Lanka Junglefowl, Sri Lanka Drongo and other rainforest birds

Trek through the dense primary rainforest

Streams, giant trees, butterflies and forest wildlife

Picnic/lunch break

Continue hiking and wildlife observation

Return to lodge in the evening

Sinharaja is especially valuable for birders: UNESCO records very high bird endemism, with 19 of Sri Lanka’s 20 endemic bird species recorded within the property.
